관능미 ‘철철’, 지상 최대 란제리 쇼 개막

The Victoria's Secret Angels have taken flight.
The highly anticipated 2010 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show kicked off in New York on Wednesday (November 10) with supermodels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Chanel Iman and dozens of others hitting the catwalk in the brand's sexy lingerie.

대망의 ‘2010 빅토리아 시크릿 패션쇼’가 10일(현지시간) 미국 뉴욕에서 개막했다. 슈퍼모델 아드리아나 리마와 알레산드라 앰브로시오, 샤넬 이만 등 모델 수십 명이 빅토리아 시크릿의 섹시한 란제리를 입고 무대를 장식했다.

Thirty three glamourous ladies walked the runway in costumes that featured glitter, studs, feathers and lace. The looks were inspired by several themes including wild things, country girls, the color pink, and heavenly bodies.
33명의 매혹적인 모델들은 반짝이는 보석과 금속 장식, 깃털, 레이스가 달린 속옷을 입고 런웨이를 누볐다. 속옷들은 야생, 시골 소녀, 분홍색, 천체(天體) 등 다양한 주제에서 영감을 받아 만들었다.

Katy Perry rocked the house with her performance of "Firework" and Akon serenaded the ladies as they walked down the runway.
Before the show Perry hit the pink carpet along with stars Paris Hilton and Adrian Grenier.
가수 케이티 페리는 노래 ‘파이어워크(Firework)’를 불러 패션쇼 장을 흥분의 도가니로 만들었고, 가수 에이콘은 런웨이에서 워킹을 하는 모델들에게 세레나데를 바쳤다.
패션쇼가 시작되기 전 케이티 페리는 패리스 힐턴, 배우 아드리언 그레니어 등과 함께 핑크카펫을 뜨겁게 달궜다.

Hilton has attended the show many times and said she keeps coming back because she loves what it represents.
이 패션쇼를 여러 차례 관람한 힐턴은 빅토리아 시크릿이 선보이는 패션쇼를 너무 좋아하기 때문에 계속 참석하고 있다고 말했다.

"I love lingerie, diamonds and they have the most beautiful pieces of lingerie as well as jewelry so I always come to watch that. And there is always a great performance. So many amazing artists performed throughout the years."

Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine said he came to support his number one fan, girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna, who walked in the show.
그룹 마룬 5의 보컬 애덤 리바인은 자신의 왕팬인 여자친구 앤 비알리치나를 응원하기 위해 왔다고 말했다. 그녀는 이번 패션쇼 무대에 오르는 모델이다.

"I've never seen her do her thing. This is exciting. This is going to be awesome, I can't wait to see her strut," Levine told Reuters.

Akon mingled with celebs on the carpet and said that while singing to 33 of the world's most beautiful women was a dream come true, it was really the backstage access he was most looking forward to.
핑크카펫 위에서 유명인사들과 함께 어울린 가수 에이콘은 “세계에서 가장 아름다운 여성 33명에게 노래를 불러주는 꿈이 실현됐다”며, 빅토리아 시크릿 패션쇼 백스테이지(모델들이 의상을 갈아 입는 무대 뒷 공간)에 들어가 보는 게 가장 해보고 싶었던 일 이라고 말했다.

"Well you know I get to get backstage and see them change into the nude, you know, so that's a treat," the singer said.

“알다시피, 전 패션쇼 백스테이지에 들어가 모델들이 알몸으로 옷을 갈아입는 모습을 보게 됐어요. 제대로 대접을 받는 거죠.”

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will be broadcast on November 30th on the CBS network.
빅토리아 시크릿 패션쇼는 이달 30일 미국의 케이블 채널 CBS를 통해 방송된다.
