a few days before its official opening, designboom visited the new Dar HI, an exclusive eco-retreatin nefta, in southern tunesia. it is located at the foot of a palm-tree oasis, at the edge of the golden dunes of the sahara. nefta is an important religious village, a platform of sufism and a 'star wars' movie was shot in the neighboring village and the set is still alive to visit.
